The Friends of Roundhay Park are thrilled to announce that we have received the King’s Award for Voluntary Service.

This prestigious award is given to volunteer groups that demonstrate outstanding work in their local community.

A huge huge thank you to all our volunteers over the years who have helped in projects from litter picking and gardening to clearing the becks and leading forest schools, to planting bulbs, raising money for new playgrounds, and hosting a huge 150th celebration.

You should be immensely proud of winning this award.

The park is lucky to have such a devoted group of volunteers looking after it come rain or shine.
