Little Friends of Roundhay Park

Keeping our park beautiful for everyone

Little Friends of Roundhay Park

We love Roundhay Park and we want to inspire the next generation to love it and protect it. It was out of this desire that Little Friends of Roundhay Park was born. We are a small voluntary group within FORP dedicated to creating engaging and fun activities for children and teenagers in Roundhay Park. Children and their families can volunteer on our dedicated family-friendly litter picks and working parties, or book on our forest schools and forest craft sessions, which are all held in Roundhay Park throughout the year

Forest Schools
We are  excited to introduce forest schools into Roundhay Park for the first time. Our forest schools offer children the chance to explore the woods in the park, while taking part in activities, such as den building, making mud kitchens, bug hunting, whittling, leaf collecting etc.
