The Land Train is Back

Fitted with hand sanitisers on the doors and social distancing by the spacing of the compartments, children, and adults, can again ride the train from the Lakeside car park to Princes Avenue gates and back.

FoRP sponsors the refurbishment of the Canal Gardens Shelter

Built into the walls surrounding Canal Gardens the shelter has been a feature of the area since the original construction. Last refurbished many years ago the shelter was looking very run down. Funded by FoRP a complete refurbishment of the roof, inside seating and the front panels and mouldings was completed in March this year.

Unable to visit your favourite park

Chlidren’s Adventure Trails Now Open

On Friday 23rd January year 5 pupils from Gledhow and Talbot Primary Schools opened the trails by solving the clues on Section 1 of” The Secret of Roundhay Castle” trail set up for 6+ children. A busy Little Friends morning
