Oakwood Film Academy – Heritage Open Days

The IRONMAN Leeds triathlon will take place on 27 July 2025. Athletes will begin their IRONMAN triathlon journey in Roundhay Park. They will take on a 2.4-mile (3.8km) lake swim in the same venue that World Triathlon Championship Series Leeds took place.  They will then embark on a 112-mile (180km) bike course up into the stunning Yorkshire Dales…

It’s fun and worthwhile. Come and join Us. There is a regular litter picking session held on the first Monday of every month. We start at 10:00am sharp and return for refreshments (tea, coffee and biscuits) at around 11:30am. We meet in the Carriage House car park which is directly behind the Roundhay Fox pub….

The Friends of Roundhay Park are thrilled to announce that we have received the King’s Award for Voluntary Service. The sensory garden team have started back in the garden after the wall was repaired. They spent much of their time clearing the debris that was left behind by the builders and rejuvenated the planting. Well done for your efforts!

Every second Thursday of the month (October through February). Mum’s meander has had another successful year. We will see you in October.

Girls from the Al Kauthar Academy in Leeds joined our monthly litter pick today. We had a very successful morning, collecting over 35 bags of rubbish. Thank you to all that attended.
