Lewis Capaldi (born October 7, 1996) is a Scotish singer-songwriter known for his powerful, raspy voice and emotional ballads. Born in Glasgow, Capaldi initially found fame by posting singing videos online, quickly becoming the fastest unsigned artist to reach 25 million streams on Spotify. He gained global fame with his 2018 hit single “Someone You Loved”, which became one of the best-selling and longest-running UK singles of all time.
Lewis Capaldi has won two Brit Awards, a Rolling Stone UK Award, and a Scottish Music Award. He has also earned Grammy Award and American Music Award nominations.
