Join us on Sunday for A Stroke of Genius Big Band – our very first outdoor concert of the year!
A Stroke of Genius Big Band is an amazing 13-piece musical group based in West Yorkshire. Founded by professional trumpet player Enrico Marchesi, the band performs a lively mix of 1940s Glenn Miller-style swing and upbeat Latin favourites. After founding the group in 2013, Enrico and his fellow musicians have raised over £30,000 for The Stroke Association. Known for their community involvement, the band can often be seen performing at local parks, tea dances and charity events.
There will be some seating available in Canal Gardens, but you may want to bring along your own picnic blanket and refreshments.
