our ACTIVITIES

FoRP has been actively involved in park improvements from the very beginning. One of our first major projects was the creation of The Friends Garden at the Old Park Road entrance to Canal Gardens. Through successful grant applications and fundraising, we secured a pro- ject budget of over £10,000 to bring this vision to life.

In 2008, we launched The Geology Trail in partnership with The Leeds Geological Association, offering visitors an insight into the park’s rich geological history.
