SENSORY GARDEN

The sensory garden is located in a corner of the walled garden in Canal Gardens.
Volunteers meet, weather permitting, every Wednesday afternoon during spring, summer and autumn.
Volunteers maintain the garden, undertaking weeding, planting, dividing and relocating plants, pruning the willow tunnel and den and maintaining the Roundhay adder, whose pebbles need regular cleaning, repainting and varnishing.
