Following the highly successful fundraising for the refurbishment of the Lakeside Playground the Little Friends of Roundhay Park turned their attention to the Upper Playground on Soldiers Field which caters for older children. Following another successful fundraising, with contributions from, amongst others, Leeds City Council, Councillor Jacob Goddard, the Coop and Veoila, the sum of £55,000 was raised for the purchase of this new challenging piece of play equipment.
