The Outdoor Gym is open

An exciting joint project between Leeds City Council and the Friends of Roundhay Park. With thanks to John and Jean Hussey for being our enablers for this project.

(Commentary by John Hussey) “After two years of trials and tribulations we finally see the  Outdoor Gym. The negotiations with the Council over the precise location seemed to take forever, but we finally ended up very close where we initially wanted it, i.e. close to the cricket pavilion. The total project cost will be around £37K with a very generous contribution from FoRP, of up to £7K. Without this contribution, the project would not have gone ahead.”
