Roundhay Park voted the fourth best spot in the UK for a picnic

In a survey commissioned by digital entertainment service DisneyLife Roundhay Park came fourth, just ahead of Kyoto Gardens in London’s Holland Park, the only two parks to feature.  A panel of parenting and travel experts prepared a short list of 20 picnic locations across the country, taking account of views and surroundings, accessability, facilities and parking.  The list was then put to a public vote of 2000 parents to discover the ultimate spot.

The Friends of Roundhay Park already know what a wonderful facility we are able to enjoy, but it is encouraging how widespread is the appreciation of Roundhay Park
