Highly Successful Triathlon

Of course the Brownlee brothers yet again winning the Elite Mens race on Sunday was the high spot of the weekend, of equal importance were the thousands of athletes and their families who enjoyed our wonderful park, with the Go Tri and junior events on Saturday and the full triathlon on Sunday morning.

The fact that on Sunday morning the transitions from swim to cycle and from cycle to running both took place in the park, meant that visitors were encouraged to appreciate what a wonderful public space we enjoy.

Now confirmed that the World Series Triathlon will return to Leeds and Roundhay Park next year.
