DESCRIPTION:Meeting location: Meet at the corner of the allotment hedge on Old Park Road and Soldier’s Field for planting. \n\n\n\nPlease wear sturdy shoes as the ground will be uneven\, a cup (for welcome teas and coffees)\, bring a spade and gloves with you. Cake and biscuits are also very welcome! Planting will go ahead\, even if it is a bit wet. \n\n\n\nIf you are interested in helping to plant our new Roundhay Hedgerow\, please drop REAP an email info@reap-leeds.org.uk and we will send an email with details as to the date and time. Otherwise\, please see our REAP News webpage (REAP Roundhay Environmental Action Project Leeds) and Facebook pages to confirm the date and bring a spade. \n\n\n\nAll are welcome to come and plant trees\, young or old. SUMMARY:LITTER PICK
DESCRIPTION:We hold a regular litter picking session on the first Monday of every month\, starting at 10:00am sharp. After a productive morning\, we return for tea\, coffee and biscuits at around 11:30am. \n\n\n\nWe meet at the Carriage House car park\, directly behind The Roundhay Fox pub. Volunteers are advised to wear sturdy shoes\, and all litter-picking equipment is provided. A safety sheet is also sent to all registered volunteers. \n\n\n\nWhile we aim to stick to the first Monday of the month\, occasional changes may occur. Many of our dedicated volunteers also collect litter in their own time\, making a huge difference across the park. \n\n\n\nEveryone is welcome—come along and help keep Roundhay Park beautiful.   \n\n\n\nFor more information contact: litter@forp.org
