Come along with your picnic for a wonderful performance from Phoenix Band Wakefield.  \n\n\n\nFormed in 1992\, Phoenix Band Wakefield\, are a community based brass band who perform at a variety of local events\, parks\, and social clubs. From January 2024\, at their social club in the village\, have been streaming live performances from themselves and amazing guest bands\, live on YouTube and via Facebook\, with HD cameras and sound mixed live by retired BBC sound engineers. \n\n\n\nWith credentials like those\, why would you miss out on soaking up the atmosphere of this amazing brass band?

DESCRIPTION:The IRONMAN Leeds 2026 takes place on Sunday 16th August 2026. As England’s only full-distance IRONMAN\, the event is based at Roundhay Park and features a 2.4-mile lake swim in Waterloo Lake\, a 112-mile bike course through the Yorkshire Dales\, and a 26.2-mile marathon run course centred around the park.  \n\n\n\nThe action will be taking place throughout the day\, so come along and support these incredible athletes! There will be free parking available on Soldiers Field. \n\n\n\nHere’s a reminder of all the action from last year!

DESCRIPTION:For our last brass band concert of the summer\, we are very lucky to be welcoming Drilington Brass Band who are the current Yorkshire Area (third Section) Champions! \n\n\n\nDescribing themselves as a “traditional\, British-style\, brass band”\, you can be sure that you will be entertained with a wide variety of music – something for everyone. They entertain audiences across the North of England with not just a “senior” contesting band\, but also a small ensemble\, and a newly reformed youth brass band. \n\n\n\nCome along\, for this wonderful opportunity to listen\, relax and enjoy some live music in one of Leeds’ most beautiful settings.
