SUMMARY:SANDS Starlight Walk
DESCRIPTION:Sands is the UK’s leading pregnancy and baby loss charity. Here to support everyone touched by pregnancy loss or the death of a baby. Always. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStarlight Walk is a chance to remember and honour babies who have died during pregnancy or shortly after birth. As darkness falls\, people come together to walk under the stars\, carrying memories and celebrating babies who will always be loved and remembered. \n\n\n\nAlong the route\, you’ll walk alongside others who understand the impact of baby loss. Through moments of reflection\, including the lighting of candles\, Starlight Walk offers a powerful opportunity to remember\, connect and ensure every baby is never forgotten. \n\n\n\nFor further information and how to take part\, follow the link below:

SUMMARY:LITTER PICK
DESCRIPTION:We hold a regular litter picking session on the first Monday of every month\, starting at 10:00am sharp. After a productive morning\, we return for tea\, coffee and biscuits at around 11:30am. \n\n\n\nWe meet at the Carriage House car park\, directly behind The Roundhay Fox pub. Volunteers are advised to wear sturdy shoes\, and all litter-picking equipment is provided. A safety sheet is also sent to all registered volunteers. \n\n\n\nWhile we aim to stick to the first Monday of the month\, occasional changes may occur. Many of our dedicated volunteers also collect litter in their own time\, making a huge difference across the park. \n\n\n\nEveryone is welcome—come along and help keep Roundhay Park beautiful. \n\n\n\nFor more information contact: litter@forp.org
