Quiz Night & BBQ Evening Saturday 21st July

Consider yourself a quiz master?
Looking for a a fun evening of entertainment over the summer? Want to support a great local fundraising appeal? If the answer to any of these is yes, then the summer BBQ and quiz evening at The Lakeside Cafe, Roundhay Park on Saturday 21st July is the event for you.

We are looking for 20 teams to compete in our quiz night, another event to raise money for the Roundhay Playground Appeal. The Lakeside are kindly providing a fabulous BBQ which is included in the ticket price. See jumblebee.co.uk/lakesideevening21july for further details. To book your team’s place you will need to register on the jumblebee site which only takes a couple of minutes.

Online Silent Auction – 1st – 21st July

We are delighted to announce our online Silent Auction which will be running between 1st – 21st July.  Many businesses, both local in Roundhay/Leeds or further afield have kindly donated many items for you to bid for.   Ranging from meals, treats, experiences, travel tickets, children’s activities and more we are sure you’ll find something that you might like to bid on.

Each item will be won by the highest bidder, so please dig deep to support this fantastic appeal – please visit www.jumblebee.co.uk/auction/detail/auction_id/2519 to view auction items or places bids.

To bid on any item you will need to register on Jumblebee (which only takes a minute)…We’d love to add more items to this auction, so if you’re a local business and would like to donate please get in touch playground@forp.org.



Our fundraising will allow us to replace all the existing equipment with imaginative, fun, exciting and appropriately challenging pieces, encompassing climbing, sliding, spinning, scrambling, swinging, role play and learning and encourage children to interact and enjoy themselves – designed appropriately for this age bracket.  A new safe and colourful rubber surface will be installed, improving the look and feel of the playground, make it more accessible for all.
